HRDEye: Predicting High-Risk Drivers Based on Vehicle Sensing Big Data

Algorithm comparison in Trajectory Risk Probability Prediction

In this part, we show the experiment result when applying LR and GBDT algorithm, based on extracted trajectory data. We also compared the algorithm with traditional classical classification algorithm Support Vector Machine(SVM), typical deep learning algirhtm Convolution Neural Network(CNN) and Bayes algorithm. The experimental results are shown in above table. We can find that, for trajectory data, GBDT algorithm can obtain a highest prediction F 1 score and AUC score at around 80% and 85%, respectively. Specifically, F 1 score of GBDT outperforms the Bayes, CNN, LR and SVM algorithm about 30.0%, 15.0%, 10.0%, and 8.0%, respectively. In the meanwhile, AUC score of GBDT outperforms other algorithms to a large extent. For accuracy, precision and recall score, GBDT also has higher score. Especially for the recall, GBDT is largely higher than other algorithms.
