Abstract:
The extensive use of video surveillance along with advances in face recognition has ignited concerns about the privacy of the people identifiable in the recorded documents. Person de-identification has become the latest research focus in biometrics. Initial research work in this area has been undertaken with the support from a proof of concept grant from the University of Hertfordshrie. This seminar will introduce the initial work done so far and brief the research collaboration with Prof. Shen from Shenzhen University which is sponsored by Santander, UK to further research in this research area.
